Quinta da Salada spans around 8 hectares of vineyards and is located in the parish of Cambres, municipality of Lamego, right in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are just 3.5 km from Peso da Régua and 6 km from Lamego.
Our accommodation was born from the renovation of the old caretakers’ house, now transformed into a charming rural retreat with 6 bedrooms and an outdoor swimming pool — exclusively for the use of our guests.
The entire Quinta da Salada estate is private and reserved exclusively for guests, offering a peaceful, intimate setting and total immersion in the Douro’s natural beauty.
The property also features a chapel, a traditional kitchen, a barrel cellar, a Wine Bar, and several outdoor areas designed for relaxation and leisure.
More than just a tourism project, Quinta da Salada is a family-run home — where every guest is welcomed with genuine care and personal attention. We consciously step away from mass tourism, choosing instead to offer a slower, more authentic experience — rooted in nature, local culture, and human connection.
We organise picnics, wine tastings, harvest experiences, open-air massages, hot vineyard baths, bicycle rides, and many other activities that bring our guests closer to the soul of the Douro — and to us.
